The Incredible Sheraton in Atlanta

Hotel: Sheraton Atlanta, Georgia

I had the pleasure of staying at the Atlanta Sheraton last week for an event I was attending within the hotel.

On arrival we (a party of 4 friends) were checked in with a few minutes by the friendly reception staff and given a room on the 12th floor (top floor).

Our room had 2 very comfortable double beds, a large tv with a games console attached (I believe there is an extra fee to use this but we didn’t so can’t comment on price), work space area, safe, small table and an office chair.

There was a balcony off our room which had fabulous views of the Atlanta Skyline, very pretty at night time.

The bathroom was clean with a light beige marble and white look, Bath/Shower with a nice selection of complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to use.

The hotel itself was beautifully kept, very clean at all times and staff were always very quick to offer a helping hand.

Amenities:

There is a small gift shop on the ground level, where you’ll find Atlanta gifts including T Shirts, jewellery and other small gifts as well as a useful area with travel needs, health products, pharmaceutical products and candy, drinks etc.

There is a Deli on level 3, they serve small bites to eat like salads, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, chocolate as well as hot and cold drinks (they serve Starbucks 🙂 ).

Level 3 also has a restaurant area with a larger menu range, however we didn’t eat here so I won’t comment.

The hotel also has a lovely swimming pool area which is very pretty, unfortunately the pool was closed when I went into this area as it was a private event for a large party (I assume this was a safety thing) but even so, the area was lovely and well kept.

The hotel also has a fitness facility.

Nearby Attractions.

Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters restaurant are 2 blocks from the hotel.

Georgia Aquarium and Coca Cola Museum are a 5-10 minute Walk.

The Marta station is 2 blocks from hotel too.

Over all this hotel was great, it made us feel welcome and relaxed as well as giving us a really fun and enjoyable time in Atlanta.
