A Suite Hotel in Silicone Valley

Hotel Suites: The Plaza Suites Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, California

We were looking for a hotel for a gig we were attending in Cupertino, something nice but not overpriced considering we really only use the rooms for a few hours then we’re off to another location.

I found The Plaza Suites online, the pictures looked nice but with the price (£50) I admittedly wasn’t expecting too much.

As soon as we walked in through the doors my internal doubts perished and we were faced with a lovely lobby area and three smiling staff members ready to check us in.

Our check in was smooth and fun with a little bit of funny banter from the seemingly happy staff member serving us, he had us checked in quickly and handed over in total six free drink vouchers to use in the bar for happy hour was from 5-7pm.

We headed up to our room and were surprised to find an actual suite (I know it’s called Plaza Suites) but we really were expecting just a half decent room… well when we first walked in we entered the sitting area which had a sofa, arm chair, coffee table, desk and desk chair as well as a fridge and microwave from that room it went into a wash area with a vanity area which had lots of room to spread out make up for girly nights out and lots of useful amenities including an emergency kit which had (nail file, sewing kit etc) :).

The wash area then led through to two doors one to the bathroom which had a lovely unique double door entrance, with bath and shower and off the wash area again was the bedroom which had a really wide bed two bed side tables and a tv.

We didn’t make use of the fitness or swimming facilities but the swimming pool looked lovely and had a few people swimming in there from the view in reception.

We had a lovely stay here, breakfast was also nice and included in the rate with a selection of cereals, hot breakfast, pancakes, make your own waffles, tea, coffee, juices.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to being able to stay here again some time.
